VUT use the Pharos system for PC reservations and student prepaid printing. 

The reservation system is set to allow 5 concurrent reservations for a minimum of 90 minutes per reservation. On an immediate reservation, the system will search for a free workstation or advice the user with the longest period from the minimum of 90 minutes to vacate the workstation. 

The system is set to allow students a maximum of 10 minutes to logon to a reserved workstation. The online reservation address is http://196.21.64.31/signup. The Signup service allows students to plan their need for computers with the assurance that there will always be a computer available for them.

The prepaid printing solution allows students to print from any machine on the network and release their print jobs from any pharos printer on campus. Printing is charges lower than copying due to its low use of tonner.
