ABSA LENDS A HELPING HAND TO VUT
Absa has donated R 415 000 as a sponsorship for the creation of the hockey field and improving of the rugby, soccer and cricket fields at VUT’s Isak Steyl stadium. Vaal University of Technology in support of Absa continues to be a trend-setter in ensuring that our youth is catered for, in terms of sporting activities, equipments as well as facilities to keep them off the street and refrain from engaging in criminal activities.

It’s a well known factor that majority of our youth is in constant conflict with the law, resulting in overcrowding of juvenile centers. As a higher learning institution, VUT offers the best quality education and the best sporting facilities.

These facilities will be beneficial to VUT’s students and the Sedibeng communities, as various sporting activities will now be able to take place without any restrictions caused by unavailability of facilities.
