'GOLDFIELD LTD VISITS GOLDFIELD LIBRARY'

The VUT Gold Fields Library has had a long association with Gold Fields Ltd. Mr Plumridge who was the CEO of Gold Fields Ltd opened the original library. Gold Fields has over the years donated funds for air conditioners in the library. The visit by Ms Ngema and Mr Potgieter was to re-establish the relationship.

On 15 February 2011, Prof Irene Moutlana, the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of VUT, supported by the Deputy Vice-Chancellors: Academic and Research; Governance and Operations; Resources and Planning addressed the Top 100 leaders on the new positioning of the institution as a university of technology within the southern Gauteng region.

2011 Registrations: Welcome to the New Year at VUT

It is indeed that time of the year once again, where you hear the buzz of registration around the main campus. A fleet of cars, huge crowds of prospective students with parents lining several kilometers to registration service points. It was the 10th of January when Vaal University of Technology started its registration process for those who have and have not yet been admitted.
