Student Health and Wellness

The Campus Clinic is situated in the basement of N-Block. It is mainly Primary Health Care service centre for University students and staff. An Occupational Health Service has been established, with an Occupational Health Nurse on available on full-time basis. The staff compliment is three Professional Nurse, one Enrolled Nurse, Health Promoter, HCT Counsellor, Administrator and Receptionist. There is also a Medical Doctor who works on a sessional basis. Two Paramedics offer emergency services when the Clinic is closed and after hours. They are based at the Student Residences (Meropa). The Campus Clinic operates from Monday to Friday between 07:45 and 16:30.
