A full-time student has made it through the hardships of being a mother of three (including a newborn) and a wife while studying is Ms Motshabi Paile, who graduated with her B-Tech: Food and Beverage Management Cum Laude and received the Vice-Chancellor’s award for her hard work. Determination, perseverance and team work made it possible for her to achieve the award and the highest average in the faculty.
In the same graduation ceremony, Ms Pumla Monala who obtained her M-Tech in Food Service Management said that she had a “never-giving-up spirit”. This made her achieve her Master’s with the dissertation titled: Determining the contribution of the National School Nutrition Programme to the total nutrient intake of Mogale City Learners.
Such achievements encourage others to do more and take their studies positively.
