Marlyn Esterhuyse graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education in the Faculty of Human Sciences and obtained a Vice-Chancellor’s Award on Wednesday, 10 April.
“It is such a privilege to receive the Vice-Chancellor’s Award,” said Ms Esterhuyse.
She said that hard work and commitment towards her studies kept her going. She said she was fortunate enough to have had all study materials that were required, which made it easier for her to be the best student in her field. She further claimed that is was also by the grace of God that she received this award.
In conclusion, she thanked VUT for making it possible for her to graduate. She advised other students to not allow anything to hinder them in achieving the highest qualifications to improve their lives. “However, life doesn’t end with acquiring a diploma,” she said.
