“If you know who you are and know what you want, just stay true to it and you will achieve everything that you put your mind to,” said the four overwhelmed Metallurgy Engineering students who received their Magister Technologiae at the Autumn graduations.
When asked how they felt, Madonsela Jerman Sole, Mahundra Mithavini Rhulani, Mantshiu Annastasia Mmaphuti, Mugeri Hudivhamudzimu said they felt like champions to have acquired this qualification because the road to obtaining it was not always smooth. “We had to dedicate extra hours into our studies and sometimes that led us to sleep in the laboratories. Having to wait for raw materials to start with our experimental work was also frustrating,” they said.
“We would like to motivate students to never give up on their goals and to finish what they started. They should know that challenges will come, but only those who stand strong will prevail.”
