Welcome to the Faculty of Management Sciences of the Vaal University of Technology. The faculty comprises four departments; Accountancy, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Marketing, Retail Business and Sport Management. The faculty is committed to the scholarship of teaching and learning, research, and community engagement. Assembled within the faculty is a group of academic experts dedicated to developing students to their highest potential and preparing them to meet national and international priorities. All qualifications offered by the faculty are internationally recognised, accredited by the Council on Higher Education and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). The faculty’s program qualification mix (PQM) is rich and diverse enough to accommodate different groups of students interested in careers in various management science disciplines. The qualifications offered by the faculty range from diplomas to doctoral degrees.

After completing their studies, most graduates of the Faculty of Management Sciences excel as either employees or entrepreneurs in the challenging job market, which makes it exciting to be part of the faculty. To preserve the competitiveness of its graduates, the faculty maintains a growth trajectory aimed at improving the standard of its program offerings and sustaining its national and international eminence.
