The year has kicked off to a productive start at the French South African Schneider education Centre (F’SASEC) which was visited by Mr Ravi Singh from Schneider Electric (SE) India on Friday 21 February.
Mr Singh’s reason for visiting the centre was to exchange information and see where he could help improve the learning materials for the students, as SE is dedicated to producing excellent artisans who are able to use state-of-the-art equipment.
However, according to Mr Singh: “There isn’t more to improve on at this centre of excellence. The standard here can be deemed of an international level.” He added that the pictures of the centre do not do it justice and that it is a lot more impressive.
Mr Riaan Greeff, F’SASEC Co-ordinator, viewed the visit as important and successful: “It is great being judged internationally and being given great remarks about the training centre.”
Mr Greeff added that it was not always easy, but with a great team that is always available to assist, the success of the centre of excellence has been made possible.
“The strong F’SASEC VUT family is always ready to take criticism and work harder to improve in the areas where suggested,” he concluded.
