On 09 September 2019, Sedibeng TVET College released the F’SASEC VUT August 2019 N1 exam results and the statistics were outstanding. A true reflection of the centre of excellence and its dedication to producing greatly trained and qualified artisans through practical training and theory, which includes subjects such as Industrial Electronics and Engineering Science to mention a few.
The Industry 4.0 class consists of 35 students, F’SASEC’s largest class since its establishment in 2012 with the pass rate of more than 80% of the students and 50% being females. F’SASEC celebrates this milestone and takes pride in the endless efforts of the staff and students to accomplish the results of this magnitude.
“With relevant study methods, consultations and extra classes F’SASEC has contributed greatly to the outcome of my results. Satisfied is an understatement, the lectures and facilitators have expressed how proud they are about my performance and this brings me great joy” stated Nonhlanhla Mngamane, with an average achievement of 93%.
Mr. Mathloma David – FSASEC Student with an average achievement of 89% said “This semester was not easy. It took a huge amount of discipline, time management, and sacrifice to achieve such results. I am happy and determined to get a higher average for the second semester. I would like to thank my lectures and facilitators for their support in ensuring that we pass.” Mr Mathloma acknowledged the efforts of the lecturers, by stating that “My lecturers’ efforts don’t go unnoticed”.
“Based on the results of the 2018 N1, F’SASEC has improved greatly in motivating and supporting its students to do better and apply themselves academically. The facilitators, lectures and lab assistants have challenged themselves by coming up with strategies to enhance learning methods for students, and with these in place, we look forward to the second semester as we are determined to keep the standard high” said F’SASEC Coordinator, Mr. Riaan Greeff.
The second semester is underway and F’SASEC is now more than ever determined to end the academic year strong and maintain the standard as the sky is the limit!
