Access  and Visitor Control Unit 


The Access and Visitor Control Unit is responsible for processing applications for student and staff cards.

Students and staff that have lost their cards must apply for a new card as soon as possible as access will be denied.

Visitors accessing the campus must apply for a visitors permit through their host.  No visitors will be allowed on campus without the relevant visitors permit.

Children of staff or children visiting with staff may only be granted access to the campus upon completion of a disclaimer form.

Contractors or service providers working on campus may only be granted access to the campus upon completion of a visitors permit through their host.

Visitors are only allowed on campus if their host has informed the Access and Visitor Control section of the visit.

The visitors permit issued to a visitor must always be visible.

 

Investigation unit


This division focuses on maintaining law and order in the campus.

The investigation unit is responsible for investigating crimes committed on campus and ensuring that perpetrators are punished.

The Investigation office is situated at Block A115

The investigation unit operates 24hrs and all types of crimes must be reported.

The investigation unit is linked through the Command Centre and students, staff and visitors wanting to report a crime or make a complaint must contact the Command Centre at night .

The investigation unit works closely with SAPS Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging and Sebokeng.

Crimes that have been committed externally must first be reported to the relevant SAPS area and then reported to the Investigation Unit as soon as possible.

Students that have experienced a crime, should contact the Command Centre for guidance.
