The F’SASEC VUT students wrote their first semester exams from 24 July to 4 August and, of the 24 students, 86% of the distinctions were achieved by women.

Mr Hendrick Langa, a director of the training centre expressed his delight and highlighted that he and his co-director, Prof Alex Sebastiani and their team, had always made it their responsibility to get the best outcomes for their students.

Dudu Mbuli, one of the successful students said: “It was not easy, yet it was a great experience writing my first exam with the training centre.”

One of the lecturers, Ms Lydie Mayoudom, who teaches what is considered to be the toughest subjects globally, expressed her delight as an excellent percentage of the students passed both Maths and Engineering Science.
