Electrochemistry Research

Electrochemistry is scientific process where there is an interconversion of electrical and chemical energy. This electrochemical energy conversion process is essentially a surface and interface process in which electrons exchange between the surface of an electrode and solution (electrolyte), affecting the electrochemical performance and stability of energy storage systems (e.g., rechargeable batteries, supercapacitors). In this research group, we are looking into new electrode materials and electrolytes to improve the electrochemical performance of supercapacitors.
